| Wines of Italy Tasting Seminar with Clint Harris of Winebow Tuesday, July 21, 2009, 7 pm at Wine World 133 Georgia Ave, North Augusta, SC Clint Harris of Winebow, one of our finest, most knowledgeable, and most popular speakers, will tell us about some of the extraordinary Italian wines of Leonardo LoCascio, Winebow, and answer your questions. Clint’s knowledge of these producers and the regions gives us valuable, intimate views of the wines. We'll explore the wide variety of Italian wine with these exciting examples from different regions, as we taste these 11 wines: La Carraia Orvieto Classico 2007, Umbria Botromagno Gravina DOC 2007, Puglia Maculan Pino & Toi 2007, Veneto Regaleali Bianco 2007, Sicily Mastroberardino Greco di Tufo DOCG 2007, Campania Allegrini Palazzo della Torre 2005, Veneto San Polo Rosso di Montalcino 2005, Tuscany Taurino Salice Salentino 2004, Puglia Mastroberardino Aglianico 2006, Campania Altesino Brunello 2003, Tuscany Prunotto Barbaresco DOCG 2004, Piedmont See www.winebow.com for more information about the wines and their regions. Bread and cheeses will be served. Retail prices of the wines range from about $10 to $75. Special prices on the wines will be offered to attendees. The tasting will last about two hours. We will begin at 7 pm and taste the wines together in sequence, with Clint’s comments on each wine and its producer and region. Reservations paid by July 20 are $20.00 per person. Entry at the door will be $25.00 per person, if space is available. Places are limited to about 40 folk – so reserve early.
